www.netbooknews.com Well, here it is at least, HTC's Flyer 7-inch Android tablet finally official at MWC, among a bunch of smartphones. We should have our hands on soon enough but in the meantime you can eye the render and peruse the specs which appear to be quite tasty. A 1.5GHz single core processor, Android 2.4 Gingerbread with a HTC Sense UI customized for tablets, a 7" 1024 x 600 capacitive display with pressure sensitive stylus, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, front 1.3MP / 5.0MP rear cameras, microSD card slot, a 4000 mAh battery good for up to 4 hours at minimum (with video playback). Turns out the rumored Scribe tablet from HTC isn't another tablet but the technology they're using with this pen of theirs. No Honeycomb here because there was no time to get it on board. The flyer will by flying into stores worldwide in Q2. No word on price just yet. It'll be available in WiFi and WiFi + 3G models but WiFi only models won't be available in the beginning. 3G models don't come with standard telephony capability but there's voice Skype / Fring.
